Belgian Molasses Bread image

"This is my very favorite bread machine recipe. I love egg salad made on this!"

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons molasses
3/4 cup warm milk
4 1/2 tablespoons warm water
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Steps:

  • Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select Basic or White Bread and 1 1/2 pound loaf settings. Press Start.
