2 lb Top sirloin
1 tbsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp White Pepper
1.5 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Scallion
2 clove Garlic
2 tbsp Cilantro
1/2 oz. Whiskey
1 loaf Pumpernickle

Steps:

  • -Thinly slice Beef into 1" wide rectangles, ensuring you remove as much fat as possible. -Season slices on both sides with salt, cumin and white pepper. -Thinly slice garlic -Chop enitre scallions -Pour lemon juice into a mixing bowl. -Submerge slices into lemon juice arrangeing them loosely with garlic and scallions -Pour Whiskey on top -Cover bowl with plastic wrap, place in refridgerator for at least 3 Hr. -Mix ingredients in the bowl prior to serving -Serve beef slices on toasted slices of pumpernickle with a drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil -Chop cilantro for a last touch garnish.
