Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 lb ground beef
3/4 c chopped onion
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp accent
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
10 tortillas, flour
1 can(s) refried beans
mild cheddar cheese
salsa, chunky

Steps:

  • 1. Cook ground beef according directions. Add onions and seasonings and mix well.
  • 2. Heat tortillas, this is very important because it help make rolling the burritos easier. Take about 2-3 tablespoons for refried beans and spread on tortilla shell off centered.
  • 3. Add 1/3 cup of meat mixture and top with a large pinch of cheese. Don't over stuff your burrito otherwise they will rip. To roll burritos (and look presentable), take the side and fold slightly inward. Next take the bottom and fold over your filling then continue to roll the rest. Make sure as you roll, keep the parts that want to flair out to the sides tucked in.
  • 4. Fill frying pan with about 2 inches of oil for frying, and fry burrito for 11/2-2 minutes each side.
  • 5. Top with cheese and salsa.
