Beef and Green Beans Stir Fry image

This recipe is so easy to cook.

½ lb beef tenderloin, cut into bite size
½ lb fresh green beans
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp chinese rice cooking wine
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp grated ginger
2 Tbsp peanut oil
FOR SAUCE:
¼ c beef stock, unsalted
¼ c teriyaki marinate sauce
1 Tbsp brown sugar
½ Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
½ tsp chili oil
1 pinch chili flakes (optional)
salt for blanching green beans

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, cooking wine and cornstarch. Set aside.
  • 2. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, set aside.
  • 3. Blanch green beans in a pot of salted boiling water for a minute. Drain and transfer into a bowl of ice water. Set aside.
  • 4. Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Brown the beef for 1 minute each side. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • 5. Cook garlic and ginger in the same skillet, add green beans and stir for a minute. Then add the beef and the sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbling. Turn the heat off. Sprinkle with chili flakes.
  • 6. Serve immediately.
