BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY CAKE image

1 Package (2 layer size)
1 jar cake frosting or Cool Whip
1 Package Oreo cookies
Other candy for decorations

Steps:

  • PREPARE: 1 package cake mix as directed on package for 2 greased 9-inch round cake pans. Cut cakes in half to form 2 semicircles. SPREAD: one layer with cake topping and top with second layer of cake. Position Oreo cookies end to end on board to form the butterfly body. Join layers of Oreos with thawed Cool Whip or cake frosting. Position cake halves on either side of body to form wings and secure with more frosting. COLOR: remaining COOL WHIP or cake topping and frost cake. Decorate boy with life savor candies, fruity pebbles, M&M's, Oreo's or other candies
