Bavarian Pork Chops image

We call this pork chop skillet dish Bavarian because of the sliced apple and onion. We call it easy because Velveeta Shells & Cheese with Bacon makes it so.

1 Tbsp. oil
4 boneless pork chops (1 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
2 cups water
1 pkg. (10.75 oz.) VELVEETA Shells & Cheese with Bacon
1 onion, sliced
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chops; cook 4 to 5 min. on each side or until done (145ºF). Remove chops from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Add water to skillet. Bring to boil.
  • Stir in Pasta Shells, onions and apples; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until pasta is tender and almost all the water is absorbed. Stir in Cheese Sauce and Bacon; top with chops. Cover; cook on low heat 5 min. or until heated through.
