Basic Vinaigrette image

Number Of Ingredients 4

3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar (or red)
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper, or to taste

Steps:

  • Whisk all of the ingredients together in a bowl, or put all of the ingredients in a half-pint jar and shake vigorously. If the dressing separates before using, shake again.
