How to make Barbecued Cube Steak

Number Of Ingredients 12

4 pound(s) cubed steak
1/2 cup(s) water
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
2 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup(s) ketchup
2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
1 tablespoon(s) vinegar
1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper
1 - onion
3 tablespoon(s) fat
1/4 cup(s) flour seasoned with salt and pepper
1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar

Steps:

  • Flour and season steak and brown in fat.
  • Add chopped onion, brown lightly.
  • Mix ingredients, pour over steak.
  • Cover slightly.
  • Cook slowly 35 minutes, or until steak is tender.
