Banana Split Twinkie Cake image

How to make Banana Split Twinkie Cake

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 - box Twinkies (10 count)
1 - (3 oz) box instant strawberry creme pudding mix
1 1/2 - cups milk
1 - 8 oz container whipped topping, separated
1 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
1 - banana, sliced
1/4 - cup Fisher nut topping or toasted pecans
10 -12 maraschino cherries or strawberries slices

Steps:

  • Line a 8 x 8 inch baking pan with 9 Twinkies. Line the pan with 5 Twinkies on one sade and the remaining 4 on the other (see photo below).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the packages of pudding with cold milk until combined (I used a wire whisk). Fold in 1/2 cup whipped topping and blend.
  • Spread the strawberry pudding mixture evenly over the Twinkies to cover. Add banana slices and spread crushed pineapple over bananas.
  • Top with remaining whipped topping and spread evenly. Add maraschino cherries (drain on a paper towel to remove juices) and nuts for garnish. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Servings: 6 - 8
