Yield 20 servings

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs
1/4 cup oil
2 pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding
1 qt. (4 cups) cold milk
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping (about 3 cups), thawed
1/4 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 vanilla wafers, coarsely crushed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat first 5 ingredients in large bowl with mixer until blended; pour into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately poke deep holes in cake at 1-inch intervals, using handle of wooden spoon.
  • Beat pudding mixes and milk with whisk 2 min. Immediately pour half the pudding over warm cake; gently shake pan to let pudding seep into holes in cake. Pour remaining pudding over cake; spread to completely cover top of cake. Spread COOL WHIP over cake, completely covering pudding.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and crushed wafers just before serving.
