Banana Bread Recipe | Single Serving | One Dish Kitchen image

Moist homemade banana bread recipe made with 1 banana and a few pantry staples. So easy to make, this bread is the perfect size for one person. It's the perfect recipe!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 banana (, mashed (about 1/2 cup))
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon butter (, melted (plus more for greasing the ramekin))
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together. Set aside.
  • Mash the banana with a fork in a separate small bowl. Add the sugar and whip the banana and sugar together.
  • Add the melted butter, the egg yolk, and the vanilla; mix well.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients just until incorporated.
  • Pour the batter into a lightly buttered 8-ounce ramekin or other baking dish of similar size.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and cool slightly before eating.
