This is one of our favorite deserts. You can make this taste like Banana Foster by adding a teaspoon of rum to the sauce recipe.

Steps:
- 1. Place the bread cubes in a greased 2-qt. casserole; pour melted butter over and toss to coat
- 2. In a medium bowl, lightly beat eggs, milk,sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
- 3. Stir in bananas
- 4. Pour over bread cubes and stir to coat.
- 5. Bake uncovered at 375 for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and set aside
- 6. Meanwhile, for sauce, melt butter in a small saucepan.
- 7. Combine sugar and cornstarch; add to butter
- 8. Stir in milk and corn syurp. Cook and stir over medium heat until the mixture comes to a full boil. Boil for 1 minute.
- 9. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
- 10. Serve warm sauce over warm pudding
