BALSAMIC PORT DRIZZLE image

Yield 3/4 cup

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 cup port
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 T honey
1 T finely chopped fresh thyme
1/4 cup finely chopped shallot
2 T dijon mustard
2 T olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
ground pepper to taste

Steps:

  • combine port, vinegar, honey, thyme and shallot in a small saucepan. Bring to boil over med high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 5 minutes. remove and whisk in remaining ingredients. Serve war or room temp
