BALSAMIC MARINATED CHEESE image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/3 pound Parmesan cheese
1/3 pound Asiago cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. Chop the cheeses into small chunks, and add to the work bowl of a food processor. 2. Pulse the cheese on and off until they are the size of peas. Needs to be crumbly. 3. Remove the cheese from the work bowl, and add the garlic, oregano, peppers and oil, stirring to blend. 4. Let the cheese stand at room temerature for a least 4 hours before serving. 5. When ready to serve, add the vinegar, and stir wth a fork, so that the vinegar blends with the oil. 6. Pour the cheese into a bowl, and serve surrounded by sliced baguettes.
