BAKED POTATO CHOWDER image

3-4 lbs potatoes
3 1/2 cups milk
4oz cream cheese
4oz cheddar cheese
2 tbl butter
2-3 green onion
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. cut potatoes in 1/2 and place in Deep Covered Baker with 1/2 cup milk. Cover and cook in microwave for 11 min. 2. Remove baker and rotate potatoes. Cook another 8-11 min until potatoes are easily pierced with fork. Meanwhile: 3. Whisk cream cheese with milk. Adding mild slowly until cream cheese is smooth. 4. chop green onion and set aside. 5. remove baker from oven and chop with mix-n-chop. Add butter and cream cheese mixture. Cover and cook 3-5min until hot. 6. Remove baker and add onion, salt, pepper, and cheddar. Mix until cheese is melted.
