Baked Macaroni & Cheese image

This is my sister, Ginger's favorite dish to fix for any type of gathering, rather it is for a family get together, church homecoming, or a dish needed for a potluck supper....you can bet Ginger will have this dish in her hand when she comes through the doors. *Google pic*

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 c elbow macaroni, cooked & drained
1/4 c margarine
1/4 c all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dry ground mustard
1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 c milk
2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350. Melt margarine in 3-qt. sauce pan over low heat. Stir in flour, salt & pepper, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat till boiling. Boil for 1 minute. Stir in cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Stir macaroni into cheese mixture. Pour into greased casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
