Number Of Ingredients 5

1 log (11oz) goat cheese
3/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp each of thyme, chervil
1 cup plain toasted bread crumbs
French bread rounds

Steps:

  • 1. Cut cheese log into 1/2" thick slices. Mix oil and herbs in shallow pan. Add cheese. Turn to coat. Let marinate covered in fridge 1 hour or up to overnight. 2. Remove from oil with slotted spatula. Dip each slice in bread crumbs. 3. Put in a circule on a microwaveable tray. Microwave on high 31-45 seconds, until slightly bubbly hot but still retaining its shape. Serve on French bread rounds. Note: To cook conventionally, prepare recipe through step 2. Then heat a few Tbsp of marinatiang oil in large nonstick skillet. Add bread crumb coated cheese slices to skillet. Cook over med-low heat, just until crumbs are golden and cheese is warm, about 2 minutes.
