Baked Date Pudding image

This is an old recipe but sometimes they are the best. My Mother use to make this and its really delicious.Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
2 c boiling water
1 c white sugar
1 3/4 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 c dates, chopped
1 c chopped nuts
1 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Dissolve brown sugar in boiling water. Pour into 13x9 pan. Then mix remaining ingredients in a large bowl. drop mixed ingredients by teaspoonfuls into brown sugar and water mixture in cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. serve warm with ice cream.
