Bacon Caramel Topping image

This topping is great served over your favorite ice cream, cake or other dessert!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup(s) diced bacon
3 tablespoon(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoon(s) bourbon
1/4 cup(s) heavy cream

Steps:

  • In a skillet,cook bacon until crunchy, about 6 minutes. Pour off excess grease from pan. Add the sugar to the skillet with the bacon, stir to dissolve. Deglaze pan with bourbon;add cream. Combine all in pan and heat and keep warm. Great on French toast.
