BABY BACK RIB CHILI image

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 or 2 Slabs Baby Back Ribs, seasoned with Salt & Pepper
2 large White Onion
1 large bunch Celery
1/2 cup Olive Oil
2-28 ounce cans Whole Tomatoes
1 28 ounce can Tomato Sauce
1 40 ounce can Kidney Beans
1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
10 shakes Worcestershire Sauce

Steps:

  • Partially precook ribs in a 450 degree oven for 45 minutes. Meanwhile saute the onions and celery in olive oil for 10 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, cook for a half an hour. Remove ribs from oven, pour off the grease, cut into two rib sections and add to pot. Cook over medium heat for several hours, scraping down anything that sticks to the side. After a couple of hours you should be able to remove the bones from the ribs using tongs. Alternatively, cook on low in a slow cooker for 8+ hours.
