Awesome Chicken Pot Pie image

I got this recipe from Recipe4Living and modified it a wee bit. I used cream of chicken soup. Make sure you drain the veggies. I pre-cooked the chicken by boiling until just cooked. The chicken will continue to cook once you place in oven. This was delicious!! It makes a lot so you can divide in half for a smaller yield. ...

2 c bisquick
2 c milk
2 can(s) cream of celery soup or chicken
15 oz carrots, canned and sliced and drained
15 oz peas, canned and drained
15 oz green beans, canned and drained
1 1/2 c chicken broth
4 pre-cooked chicken breasts, diced
1 stick butter

Steps:

  • 1. Place cooked diced chicken in the bottom of a greased 9X13 inch baking dish.
  • 2. In a large bowl, combine soup, broth and drained vegetables. Pour over chicken.
  • 3. In a medium bowl, combine Bisquick (or choice of biscuit mix) and milk. Pour over chicken mixture.
  • 4. Melt butter in microwave-safe dish and drizzle over top of dish.
  • 5. Bake in a 350 degrees oven (uncovered)for 1 hour or until Bisquick rises and browns.
  • 6. ENJOY!!
