Awesome Blue Cheese Dip image

This is very addictive, especially with toasted pecans. I got this in a Taste of Home Magazine. My family loves it.

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 c sour cream
1 c crumbled blue cheese
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c minced chives
toasted pecan halves
sliced apples or pears

Steps:

  • 1. Toast the pecans in the oven-watch carefully so they do not burn.
  • 2. In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, and salt and pepper; until smooth.
  • 3. Fold in the blue cheese and chives. Serve with the pecans and fruit slices.
