I love ginger snaps with a glass of cold milk. This recipe will give me another way to to enjoy these crisp little cookies. I found this simple recipe in Christy Jordan's Southern Plate cookbook. Note:Unlike some pp dips,this recipe does not have sour cream as an ingredient.

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioners sugar at medium speed with a hand mixer.
- 2. Add the pie filling, ground cinnamon, and ginger and beat well.
- 3. Cover and chill.
- 4. Serve with ginger snaps and sliced apples. Note:I think sprinkling crushed gingersnaps on top of dip will make a pretty presentation.
