AUNTIE ELDER'S BREAD PUDDING image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup dark brown sugar
3 slices French bread, buttered and cubed
Sauce:
3 eggs
2 cups milk
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • Toss bread cubes in brown sugar. Place in top of Double Boiler. Beat sauce ingredients then pour over bread. DO NOT STIR. Cook over hot water 1 hour.
