Number Of Ingredients 5

1 Cup Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
Pinch Salt
1/3 Cup Shortening
4 Tablespoons Cold Water

Steps:

  • Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal Add water 1 tablespoon at a time Mix with hands to form dough into a uniform ball Roll out an a well floured surface and transfer to a pie plate If recipe calls for a pre-baked crust, bake in 450 degree oven until lightly browned
