Asparagus with Cheese Sauce image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb asparagus fresh
1/3 c water
1/4 c mayonnaise
1/4 c heavy cream
1 c sharp cheddar cheese shredded
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Cook asparagus in boiling salted water until crisp tender.
  • 2. Place remaining ingredients in sauce pan and cook until cheese is melted.
  • 3. Spoon cheese sauce over asparagus.
