1 pound(s) shrimp, cooked
2 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
- "just a pinch" of pepper
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
11 ounce(s) mandarin oranges, sectioned and drained
1/2 pound(s) asparagus, steamed
1 cup(s) celery, sliced
1 - onion, sliced
1 cup(s) mushrooms, sliced
1 can(s) water chestnuts, drained
- cooked rice

Steps:

  • Shell, devein shrimp.
  • Drain and slice water chestnuts.
  • Arrange shrimp, chestnuts, mushrooms, onion, celery, asparagus and oranges on large tray.
  • Heat oil in wok or electric skillet.
  • Add onion, celery, salt, pepper and sugar.
  • Cook, stirring, until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Add asparagus and shrimp.
  • Place mushrooms and water chestnuts over shrimp.
  • Sprinkle with soy sauce.
  • Place orange sections on top.
  • Cover, cook until mixture begins to steam.
