ASIAN STEAMED CHICKEN image

4 chicken breast halves, bone-in or out
1 tablespoon peeled and minced ginger (+)
1/2 cup peanut oil
1/4 cup trimmed scallions, chopped into 1/4 pieces
S&P
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil

Steps:

  • Steam chicken over simmering water until white and firm to touch (about 20 minutes). Meanwhile stir together ginger, oil, scallions, and S&P. Mixture should be quite strong. Add more ginger or scallions if you like. When chicken is done, drizzle it with soy sauce and sesame oil and serve with sauce.
