Steps:
- Mince the garlic and the green pepper.
- Cut the beef brisket into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pan, heat oil and sear the meat until brown and set aside.
- Saute the garlic and the green pepper.
- Add the seared beef and saute for a couple of minutes.
- Add the soy sauce and the hoisin sauce and simmer for 1 minute.
- Add the beef stock, honey, and five-spice.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 40 minutes or until fork-tender.
- Add salt, pepper, and taste.
