Artichoke Hearts Gratin Recipe image

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 canned artichoke hearts drained and halved
1 tsp vegetable oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
2 Tbl dry bread crumbs
1/4 C finely grated Parmigiano-Regiano cheese
1 Tbl oil
1/2 lemon, cut into wedges

Steps:

  • Place artichoke halves on paper towel cut side down to drain for about 15 minutes. Set oven rack about 6" from heat source and preheat the broiler. Line baking sheet with foil and lightly coat with vegetable oil. Place artichoke halves on prepared baking sheet cut side up. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and cheese. Drizzle with oil. Broil until browned on top, about 7 minutes Serve with lemon wedges
