Armenian Spice Cake Recipe - (2.5/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups brown sugar
2 cups self-raising flour
125-g melted butter
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon bi-carb soda
1 egg
2 teaspoons nutmeg

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180°F. Mix together brown sugar and self-raising flour then add melted butter. Place half of mixture into bottom of greased and lined spring-form tin - press down. In new bowl combine milk, bi-carb, egg, nutmeg and remaining dry mixture. Pour into tin on top of original mixture. Bake for 1 hour.
