APPLE RUM RAISIN BREAD PUDDING image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 med apples, peeled and coarsely chopped
2 tbsp butter
3 cups day old bread cubes
1/2 cup raisins
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp rum

Steps:

  • Sauté apples in butter 5 min. Add bread crumbs. Put mixture in 1 1/2 qt casserole. Beat eggs. Add sugar, milk. Stir in rum. Pour over bread mixture. Bake covered at 350 for 45 - 55 min. Take cover off for last 20 min to let brown.
