- Makes 5 servings First, peel the apples and slice them into small pieces, around the size of an almond. Put the sliced apples, sugar and cinnamon in a pan. Add 1 1/2 cup of water. Let them boil, while stirring, until they become a transparent-y color. Then give them a smash with a fork. If you prefer, you can leave the pieces whole, I just like it less chunky. Let the apple spread cool. Or not. Take the tortilla and give it a zap in the microwave, then spread the apple jam on top, wrapping it up. If you'd like, you can give it a toast in a dry pan or in the oven.
