Apple Pie Jam image

Found this Recipe online...It is Scrumptious!!!

Number Of Ingredients 11

10 granny smith apples
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 c water
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp cinamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1 c firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp real butter
5 c sugar
2 pkg ball liquid pectin

Steps:

  • 1. Put butter, water, and lemon juice in pot on stove on warm
  • 2. Core, Slice and peel apples and dip into cup of 1 part lemon juice, 3 parts water, then add apples to food processor, {For Apple Pie Filling Just add sliced apples straight to pot}
  • 3. Add cinnamon, vanilla ,nutmeg, ginger, and brown sugar, and blend till applesauce consistency {for pie filling, just add all to pot and stir}
  • 4. Add sugar, and pectin, and bring to rolling boil for 4 minutes, remove from heat
  • 5. Ladle into prepared half pint jars, add lids and process for 15 minutes in water bath canner
  • 6. Remove jars, let stand for 12 hours
