½ cup milk
4 eggs
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter
2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
1 cup brown sugar
2 (12.4 ounce) packages refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing, chopped into cubes

Steps:

  • Whisk milk, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla extract together in a bowl.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add apples and brown sugar; cook until softened, 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Place chopped cinnamon roll dough in an 8-inch square baking pan. Pour egg mixture over rolls. Top with apple mixture and included cinnamon roll icing.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden and bubbling, 25 to 30 minutes.
