Antique Apple-Date Coffee Cake image

I call this an "antique" cake because my great grandma made it, then it was passed down to my grandma, to my mom, and then to me! At some point the recipe was changed to use biscuit mix, and I'm glad it was because it's easy and good and tastes GREAT! So, pour yourself a hot cup of coffee, pull up a chair and enjoy a piece of this warm coffee cake with me!
