Angel's Sweet Potato Pie image

This is a super easy and tasty sweet potato pie. My daughter would make herself sick eating this pie! Makes enough for 2 pies.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 pie crusts (homemade or store bought)
2 c cooked and mashed sweet potato
1/2 c sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c sour cream

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, stir together sweet potatoes, sugar, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and salt. Stir lightly.
  • 2. Add eggs. Beat lightly with a fork just until combined.
  • 3. Gradually stir in sour cream until well combined.
  • 4. Pour filling into prepared pie crust.
  • 5. Bake at 375 degrees for about 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
