Number Of Ingredients 12

2 3/4 cup(s) all purpose flour
3/4 cup(s) unsweetened cocoa powder (i use dutch)
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 cup(s) real butter (2 sticks at room temp)
1 3/4 cup(s) granulated white sugar
2 large egg
2 teaspoon(s) vanila
2 cup(s) milk chocolate chips (1 bag remove 1/4 cup from this for dough)
1 cup(s) almonds (i like to toast mine but that is up to you)
2 cup(s) sweetened flaked coconut
1 can(s) eagle brand condensed milk

Steps:

  • In a large bowl sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer), beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 to 4 minutes). Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and beat until combined. Mix by hand with a large spoon or clean hands the flour mixture and beat until you have a smooth dough stir in 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place rack in the center of the oven. Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper. Press chocolate dough evenly into bottom of pan.
  • Top chocolate dough with 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (remainder of the bag)
  • Top chocolate chips with 1 cup almonds
  • Top Almonds with 2 cups coconut
  • Pour whole can of eagle condensed milk over coconut
  • Bake in oven for 40 minutes or until top is toasty brown
