7 Layer Mexican Dip image

When I was a Longaberger consultant, we had to come up with different ideas for parties, and a fellow consultant shared this recipe to promote Grandma Bonnie's Pie Plate sales! It is really good, and you'll love it!

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 clove(s) garlic
1 can(s) dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup(s) thick salsa
1 teaspoon(s) chili powder
3/4 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- guacamole
2/3 cup(s) sour cream
3/4 cup(s) sliced black olives (i actually put on the side)
- tomatoes, diced
- green onion, sliced
1/2 cup(s) shredded cheddar
SERVE WITH:
- tostito scoops or
- frito scoops (my choice)

Steps:

  • Process in food processor: garlic, kidney beans, salsa, chili powder and cumin. Spread in pie plate.
  • Layer following ingredients, leaving borders: guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese, olives, tomatoes.
  • Serve!
