Steps:
- In a small saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil over medium-high heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved, about 5 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes.
- Pour the cooled syrup into a blender. Add the yogurt, raspberries, apple juice, vanilla, and ice. Blend until the mixture is smooth and thick.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
BLACK RASPBERRY-VANILLA SMOOTHIE
Steps:
- Blend 1 pint blackberries, 1/2 cup raspberries, 1 cup vanilla yogurt and 1 tablespoon honey.

Steps:
- Put the raspberries, yogurt and vanilla essence in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Taste, and add the honey if necessary for sweetness. Put a couple of ice cubes in a glass, and pour in the smoothie. Spoon the Greek yogurt on top, add a straw and serve immediately.
