This is an awesome dessert for spring/summer that I got from a friend of mine. I have always had rave reviews wherever I have taken it!! Perfect for a family gathering or potluck!

Steps:
- Dissolve jello with boiling water (use 1 3/4 cup water for firmer jello).
- Mix in pie filling and pineapple with juices.
- Put in fridge to set for 4-6 hours or longer if needed.
- Mix all remaining ingredients for the topping.
- Beat until smooth and spread onto set jello.
- OPTIONAL: Sprinkle with fresh blueberries, raspberries and or nuts.
BLUEBERRY SALAD
This is a dessert 'salad' with raspberry Jell-O and crushed pineapple. You can also change it around to your specified taste.

- Combine hot water and gelatin; stir until dissolved. Stir in pineapple and blueberry pie filling. Pour into a 9x13 inch dish and chill in refrigerator until firm.

- In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add hot gelatin mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in the raspberries, ginger ale, pineapple, pecans and vanilla. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until partially set., Fold in whipped topping and marshmallows. My husband's Aunt Kathy made this for one of our family meals and I was so impressed that I begged for the recipe! This is not your average jello salad-it's much much better! Not only does it taste wonderful but it is pretty. Appropriate for every day but beautiful enough for a holiday meal.

Steps:
- Add pineapple and enough water to make 2 cups to a saucepan and heat to boil.
- Pour over jello and stir until dissolved.
- Add cold water and pie filling. Stir well.
- Chill until set in a 9 x 12 dish.
- Whip cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and powdered sugar and mix until creamy.
- Spread on jello.
- Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and or fresh raspberries.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
