1 package (20 ounces) large thick pretzels
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
3/4 cup canola oil
1-1/2 teaspoons dill weed
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

Steps:

  • Break pretzels into bite-size pieces and place in a large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over pretzels. Stir to coat. , Pour into an ungreased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together EXCEPT pretzels. Pour mixture over the pretzels and store in airtight container. The pretzels will absorb all of the oil in 2 hours.

1 (1 ounce) packet ranch dressing mix
3/4 cup canola oil or 3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Pour pretzels into a 9x13 pan.
  • Mix together the oil, dressing mix, cayenne and garlic powder.
  • Pour the mixture over the pretzels and mix to coat.
  • Bake at 225 for 2 hours, mixing every 30 minutes to evenly coat pretzels.

DILL/RANCH PRETZELS

These are always a hit! No baking needed. You can make them ahead of time. They store well for 2-weeks plus. I make these so often I get the jar/bottle of the dry ranch dressing mix.

2 1-lb bag of pretzels (can also use 1 bag & keep seasonings the same)
3/4 c cooking oil (canola, vegetable etc - just not olive oil)
1 pkg dry ranch salad dressing mix (not dip mix) - you can also by this buy the bottle/jar & use 3 heaping tablespoons
1 Tbsp dill weed (heaping tablespoon)

Steps:

  • 1. Put pretzels into large bowl
  • 2. Pour half of the oil over the pretzels and "toss" like a salad to coat the pretzels
  • 3. Pour remaining half of oil over pretzels and "toss" again
  • 4. Add dill weed to package of ranch dressing mix and mix slightly in the package
  • 5. Sprinkle about half the dill weed/ranch mix over pretzels and "toss" like a salad
  • 6. Sprinkle remaining dill weed/ranch mix and toss pretzels again
  • 7. "Toss" pretzels every 10-15 minutes (give or take) until they are no longer shiny (oil is dry)- prob about 45 min - 1 hr
  • 8. Store in plastic bags or airtight container. Pretzels are good for at least 2-3 weeks.

1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix (such as Hidden Valley Ranch ®)
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
6 cups mini pretzels
3 (6 ounce) packages bite-size Cheddar cheese fish crackers

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • Stir the popcorn oil, ranch dressing mix, dill weed, garlic powder, lemon pepper, and cayenne pepper in a large bowl; add the pretzels and fish crackers and stir to coat evenly. Spread the mixture onto two jelly roll pans.
  • Bake in the preheated oven, stirring once, until lightly toasted, 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer mixture to a flat surface lined with waxed paper to cool.

18 oz bag of hard pretzels (i use snyder of berlin)
1 pkg ranch dressing mix
1/2 tsp dill
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 c vegetable oil

Steps:

  • 1. Break the pretzels into bite-size pieces and put into a large ziploc bag. Whisk the dry ingredients into the vegetable oil. Pour the flavored oil over the pretzels in the bag. Zip the bag and shake to coat the pretzels. Pour the pretzels onto a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 275 degrees. Let cool before storing.
  • 2. Can also use onion soup mix and oil for onion flavor pretzels.

1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Mix the seasonings with the oil. Pour the oil mixture over the pretzels that have been placed in a large bowl and mix well.
  • 2. Let sit in bowl for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or so.
  • 3. Spread pretzels on a large cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
  • 4. Take out of oven and let cool. Serve immediatley or put in individual bags or bowl to give away as gifts. Enjoy!

1 bottle orville redenbacher buttery popcorn oil
1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp dill weed

Steps:

  • 1. Mix oil and dry ingredients together. Put pretzels in a big plastic garbage bag (I use kitchen size). Pour the oil and mixes into the bag. Shake around. Put the plastic bag into a paper shopping bag. I double bag it. Let it sit for 24 hours and turn the bag every time you walk by it.

  • 2. Place pretzel pieces in a large resealable bag; set aside.

1 oz. package Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix (Original)
2 tsp garlic powder ( I use 3 tsp since I love them really garlicky)

Steps:

  • Pour pretzels into large mixing bowl. Toss with popcorn oil, until pretzels are coated with the oil. Sprinkle the dip mix and garlic powder over the pretzels. Toss again until all the ingredients are distributed over all the pretzels. Spend a couple minutes doing this to be sure everything is evenly distributed.
  • Pour onto large cookie sheet and let dry for several hours. Once dry, store in airtight container.
