Number Of Ingredients 9

- 6 large all purpose potatoes
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 4 oz

Steps:

  • Peel and cube potatoes. In a 4 quart dutch oven, cook potatoes in small amount of boiling salted water,covered, for 20 to 25 minutes or til tender. Drain and cool. Put in a large bowl. Beat with electric mixer on low speed. Add milk and butter. Beat til fluffy.
  • Preheat oven to 350. Beat cream cheese, sour cram,salt, pepper and garlic into potato mixture. Stir in onion. Transfer to a 2 quart round casserole. Top with cheese. Bake for about 30 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

potaotes - 6 large all purpose
milk - 2/3 c
butter, soft, 1/2 c
cream cheese, 8 oz. soft
sour cream - 1 c.
s&P to taste
garlic, 1 minced clove
sliced green onion - 1/4 c. thinly sliced
sharp cheddar cheese, 1 c., shredded

Steps:

  • Peel and cupe potatoes, boil about 25-min. until tender. Drain. Put in large bowl, beat with electric mixer on low speed, add milk and beat til fluffy.. Preheat oven to 350. Beat cream cheese, sour cream, sal, pepper, garlic and onion, and mix into potatoes. transfer to 2-qt. round casserole. top with cheese. Bake about 30 min. until bubbly. Makes 8-10 servings.
