Steps:

  • Thread fruit onto wooden skewers.

1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups fresh strawberries, halved
1-1/2 cups green grapes
8 ounces cubed cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, or a combination of cheeses

1 medium tart apple, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 medium pear, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained
24 grapes (about 1/4 pound)
24 fresh strawberries
COCONUT DIP:
1-1/2 cups fat-free vanilla yogurt
4-1/2 teaspoons sweetened shredded coconut
4-1/2 teaspoons reduced-sugar orange marmalade

Steps:

Assorted fruit of your choice: strawberries, seedless red grapes, sliced kiwifruit, sliced star fruit, kumquats and cubes of cantaloupe, honeydew or pineapple
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Alternately thread fruit onto skewers; set aside. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and juices until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Brush over fruit. Refrigerate until serving.

1 pound beef Top Sirloin Steak Boneless, cut 1 inch thick
1 medium orange
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)
4 cups cubed mango, watermelon, peaches and/or plums

Steps:

  • 1.Grate peel and squeeze 2 tablespoons juice from orange; reserve juice. Combine orange peel, cilantro, paprika, and ground red pepper, if desired, in small bowl. Cut beef Steak into 1-¼ inch pieces. Place beef and 2-½ tablespoons cilantro mixture in food-safe plastic bag; turn to coat. Place remaining cilantro mixture and fruit in separate food-safe plastic bag; turn to coat. Close bags securely. Marinate beef and fruit in refrigerator 15 minutes to 2 hours.

½ cup margarine
¼ cup honey
3 fresh peaches, pitted and quartered
3 fresh plums, pitted and quartered
3 bananas, cut into 4 pieces each

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and place a large sheet of foil onto the grate.
  • Melt the margarine and honey together in a small saucepan over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Do not let the sauce boil.
