- In a blender or food processor, combine the mayonnaise, cream cheese, onion, chives, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and seasonings. Cover and process until blended. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. , Using a 2-1/2-in. biscuit cutter, cut out circles from bread slices. Spread mayonnaise mixture over bread; top with cucumber slices. Steps:
- Mix the prawns, lemon zest and juice, poppy seeds and oil in a bowl, and leave to marinate for 10-20 mins while you prepare the cucumber.
- Peel 20 strips from the cucumber, running the peeler down the full length. Stop and turn the cucumber when the peelings get a bit too seedy.
- Thread each cucumber strip onto a small wooden skewer, bending back and forth to create ruffles. Add a prawn to each and put in the fridge to chill until the party.

- Slice the cucumber into ten discs, each about 1/4in thick.
- Mix together the cream cheese, chili sauce, scallion, lemon juice and two-thirds of the peanuts. Spoon the mixture on top of the cucumber discs (to make them look neater, scoop the mixture between two teaspoons to give a nice shape).
- Sit a shrimp on top of each cucumber disc. Sprinkle over the remaining chopped peanuts and arrange on a serving plate.
