1 package (16 ounces) egg noodles
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
2 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large heavy skillet, saute onion in butter until onion begins to brown. Drain noodles; add to skillet. Cook and stir until noodles begin to brown. , Add the green onions, poppy seeds, salt and pepper; cook and stir 1 minute longer. Sprinkle with parsley.

  • Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Crush 1 cup egg noodles and add to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until browned, 3 to 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels; season with salt and pepper. Boil 1 pound egg noodles as the label directs. Reserve 1 cup cooking water; drain the noodles and return to the pot off the heat. Add 4 tablespoons butter, 2/3 cup crème fraîche, 2 tablespoons chopped chives, 2 teaspoons poppy seeds, 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1/2 cup of the reserved cooking water. Stir until creamy, adding more cooking water as needed. Season with salt. Top with the fried noodles.

1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
POPPY SEED NOODLES:
8 ounces wide noodles, cooked and drained
2 teaspoons poppy seed
1 tablespoon butter, melted
Chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef in onion and butter until the beef is no longer pink. Stir in the flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in soup; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. , Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 1 Rotisserie Chicken or 3 cups of boneless cooked Chicken or Turkey meat
3/4 cup sour cream
1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1 cup of crushed Ritz Crackers - approximately 3/4 a sleeve
1/4 cup melted butter
1 Tablespoon Poppy Seeds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*F
  • Spray an 8x8 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Shred boneless chicken or turkey meat and toss into a medium bowl.
  • Add sour cream, cream of chicken soup and poppy seeds to the chicken. Mix well.
  • Spread chicken mixture into prepared casserole dish.
  • In a small bowl combined crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter. Mix well.
