A healthy and very tasty snack, I got this recipe from my vegan aunt, it makes a great and healthy travel snack, and it actually does have somewhat of a pizza-y taste to it.

Number Of Ingredients 13

3 cups pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup tomatoes
1/8 cup red onion
4 sun-dried tomatoes
1 garlic clove
1 dates, pitted
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
1/2 teaspoon kelp
3/4 teaspoon sea salt

Steps:

  • Presoak seeds for 6 to 12 hours.
  • Drain seeds.
  • Process all other ingredients in food processor.
  • Mix with seeds, spread seeds on wax paper on dehydrator tray.
  • Flip once during drying time.

1 ½ cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons butter, melted
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.
