Number Of Ingredients 7

6 corn tortillas
6 hot dog hot dogs (any kind meat or vegetarian)
oil (for deep frying)
2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped jalapeno

Steps:

  • Heat the tortillas in the microwave for about 1 minute to make them pliable and wrap in a paper towel or dish towel to keep them soft.
  • Heat enough oil in a medium frying pan to cover the bottom about 1/2 inch.
  • Wrap weiners in corn tortillas.
  • Fry the "pigs in a poncho" until tortillas start to turn light brown and place on a paper towel to drain.
  • To make the cheese sauce combine all ingredients in a microwave safe dish and heat until the sauce is melted and bubbly and stir.

2 flour tortillas
4 tbsp refried beans
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup taco sauce
2 tbsp diced green chiles
32 mini cocktail sausages
1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
2 ripe avocados
1 package guacamole seasoning mix

Steps:

  • Spread two tablespoons of refried beans on each flour tortilla.
  • Beat softened cream cheese. Add taco sauce and beat until smooth. Spread 1/4 cup of the mixture over the refried beans on each tortilla.
  • Top each tortilla with one tablespoon of diced green chiles.
  • Cut tortillas into 16 triangles.
  • Roll a mini cocktail sausage in each triangle. Place on parchment covered baking sheet.
  • Spray with cooking spray. Top with a small pinch of shredded cheese.
  • Bake at 400°F for 9-12 mins.
  • Mash two ripe avocados with a fork. Stir in guacamole seasoning mix.

8 hot dogs
1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
8 flour tortillas (10 inches)
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles
1 can (2-1/4 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Oil for frying
Sour cream and salsa, optional

Steps:

  • Heat hot dogs according to package directions. Spread beans over the center of each tortilla; layer with green chiles, olives and cheese. Place hot dog down center of tortilla. Fold bottom and sides of tortilla over filling and roll up; secure with a toothpick., In a deep skillet or electric skillet, heat 1 in. of oil to 375°. Fry wraps in batches, seam side down, until golden brown, 2-3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Discard toothpicks before serving. Serve with sour cream and salsa if desired.

3 tablespoons seedless raspberry jam
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 round (8 ounces) Camembert cheese
18 miniature smoked sausages
1 large egg
1 tablespoon water

  • Preheat oven to 425°. Unfold puff pastry. Cut each pastry into 9 squares. Cut each square into 2 triangles. In a small bowl, mix jam and mustard; spread over triangles.
