Number Of Ingredients 9

3 ripe bananas
8 slice of bread, white, wheat, etc...
3/4 c of crunchy peanut butter
1/4 c honey
1 1/4 tsp cinnamon
4 Tbsp butter
TOPPING
1/4 c sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. In a small bowl mix together peanut butter, honey and cinnamon. Slice bananas into 1/4 thick slices. Spread the peanut butter mixture on four slices of bread and cover with banana slices.

The slice of bread that doesn't have the peanut butter mixture on it, I spread with margarine or spreadable butter and put the peanut butter and banana slice of bread, bread side down in the melted butter in the pan. Place the buttered slice of bread on top, butter side out.
  • 3. Grill sandwiches in frying pan until each side is golden brown.

1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups buttermilk
2 large eggs
2 medium bananas, cut into 1/2-inch slices

Steps:

  • Place a griddle pan over medium heat. Add the canola oil and butter. Using a ladle, pour 1/2 cup batter for each pancake, roughly 2 inches apart. When small bubbles appear across the surface of the pancakes and the edges lift from the griddle, flip and continue cooking until the pancakes are golden brown on the second side, about 4 minutes per side. Continue with the remaining batter.
