2 bone-in center-cut pork loin chops (7 ounces each)
2 teaspoons canola oil
1 can (8-1/4 ounces) sliced peaches in extra-light syrup
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
Dash to 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • In a small skillet, brown pork chops in oil; drain. Transfer to a 1-1/2-qt. slow cooker., Drain peaches, reserving juice. In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce, water, soy sauce, rosemary, thyme, basil, cayenne and reserved peach juice; pour over pork. Top with peaches. Cover and cook on low until pork is tender, about 5 hours.

1/2 red onion, diced (reserve the other half for Online Round 2 Recipe Orzo Soup with Pork)
2 peaches, halved, pitted and diced
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro leaves
Pinch kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
5 pork chops, end cut
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Salsa:
  • In a bowl toss all of the salsa ingredients together and set aside.
  • Pork chops:
  • Heat an outdoor grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Brush the pork chops with the oil. In a small bowl combine the chili powder, salt and pepper. Generously sprinkle the rub over both sides of each pork chop. Arrange the chops on a serving platter and let rest 5 minutes before serving.

2 apples
2 peaches
2 Tbsp cinnamon
3 c water
1 lb pork chops - thawed

Steps:

  • 1. Peel and slice apples and peaches. I cut them to about the size I would use to make pie.
  • 2. In slow cooker, combine peach salsa, apple slices, pear slices, cinnamon and water. Stir until evenly mixed.
  • 3. Trim fat from pork chops and cut into one inch strips.

2 cans sliced peaches (i used one can with juice and on in heavy syrup)
1 (15oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
dash of cayenne pepper
